Porsche World Roadshow: An Unforgettable Experience at Dubai Autodrome

Overview

Dubai - More than 300 car enthusiasts had the opportunity to enjoy a full line-up of Porsche’s latest models during the Porsche World Roadshow at Dubai Autodrome last week.

Organised by Porsche Centre Dubai, Al Nabooda Automobiles, and Porsche Middle East and Africa, the eight-day roadshow took place from 30 January to 6 February 2013. Eager drivers experienced new Porsche technologies and discovered firsthand the joy of driving a Porsche.

Driving Experience

With professional instructors from Germany and Porsche Centre Dubai representatives on site, Porsche enthusiasts received answers to all their questions while enjoying training on various driving techniques, including:

• Off-roading
• Braking
• Handling
• Slalom

This training occurred in a controlled and safe environment, allowing participants to fully appreciate each model's capabilities.

Models Showcased

Participants experienced the versatility of the Cayenne on the off-road circuit, the nimbleness of a Boxster at slalom, the surprising agility of the Panamera, and the sheer thrill of driving a 911 in its natural habitat – the race track.

Hot Lap Sessions

In the afternoons, attendees were invited to participate as passengers in the Hot Lap sessions, where instructors demonstrated the full force of driving a Porsche on the winding Dubai Autodrome circuit.
