Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has launched ‘ENOC Link’ an app-based on-demand fuel delivery service to meet the needs of businesses and fleets in the UAE. Taking on rival app CAFU, ENOC’s service is operated by thirty trucks varying in capacity from 800 liters to 5,000 liters and will be rolled out in specific industrial areas before branching out in residential communities to serve the public.
Saif Al Falasi, CEO of ENOC Group, said “In the near future there will be new regulations and services will have to meet high standards.It is my understanding that only three main national oil companies (ENOC, ADNOC and Emarat) can sell fuel in the UAE and in the future the government will regulate who is going to be in the market or not.”
As per officials at ENOC, the ENOC Link service differentiates itself from other operators in three distinct ways: since it is the national fuel provider, fuel will be supplied at a cheaper rate; their staff have been trained to handle any and all circumstances; and finally their trucks are equipped with a vapor recovery system that reduces wastage and the chances of ignition.
