Hyundai recently achieved a successful launch of the Genesis Sedan. The reactions have been positive, praising its beautiful design, robust build, and abundant technology, not to mention the powerful V8 engine.
Information on the New Genesis Coupe
According to reports, the new Genesis Coupe will be built on the same platform as the Genesis Sedan. Expected to debut in 2017, the Genesis Coupe will move away from the 2.0L engine to compete with German coupe models.
For the first time, it will offer a V8 variant to enhance performance. The car will accommodate 4 passengers with rear-wheel drive and an optional all-wheel drive system.
Engine Options
The engine options will mirror those of the Genesis Sedan, including:
- 3.8 V6 engine producing 311 horsepower
- 5.0L V8 engine generating 420 horsepower
However, there may also be a more powerful engine option available for the coupe.
