Increase in Taxi Rides
Taxi rides in Dubai have increased by 3 percent this year compared to last year. In the first half of the year, Dubai taxis broke their record with a total of 50,012,545 rides, averaging 8,335,424 rides per month.
D8 Taxi Management System
The D8 system is used for managing the booking and distribution of taxis, monitoring taxi movement across Dubai, and providing accurate data on the number of completed rides.
Booking and Distribution Center
Adel Shukri, the Director of Transportation Systems at the Public Transport Authority, discussed the booking and distribution center. He stated that the center also offers regular customers IVR calls.
