Introduction
A device called "Trap" has been developed by three students at Al Ain University of Science and Technology. This device aims to combat car theft electronically.
Device Functions
The Trap device performs the following functions:
- Sends a text message to the car owner when an intrusion is detected.
- Locates the vehicle through Google Maps.
- Allows the owner to stop and lock the car remotely.
How to Use
Upon receiving an alert, the car owner can send a "code" to the device, which results in:
- Completely stopping the car.
- Preventing the thief from starting the car again.
- Detaining anyone inside the vehicle.

The students who developed this device are:

- Hadeel Al-Humaida
The students confirmed that their goal is to serve the community and assist the police in combating car theft. They added that the device is simple, compact, and can be installed on all types of vehicles.
