Introduction
The Jaguar Vision GT SV is an all-electric vehicle that boasts a top speed of 410 km/h, an ideal aerodynamic design, and a powertrain technology capable of winning races. This fully electric virtual car was specifically developed for the Gran Turismo video game, featuring a life-size model to study its design.
Car History
In October 2019, Jaguar introduced the Vision GT Coupe, the first fully electric sports racing car designed for the Gran Turismo game. The vehicle proved to be a success and gained popularity among gamers with its stunning design inspired by Jaguar's heritage, a driver-focused interior, and excellent handling and steering.
Improvements and Development
The Jaguar design team, along with the Special Vehicle Operations (SV) unit and Jaguar Racing, regarded the Vision GT Coupe as the starting point for developing the Vision GT SV. Every aspect that could enhance performance was reviewed to reimagine a rugged electric racing car.

A significant aspect that contributed to this process was the detailed analysis of player feedback from videos and online forums, helping the teams identify how to improve the Vision GT SV to create the ultimate racing game vehicle.
Performance Design
The new vehicle, with its lightweight aerodynamic body, features four electric motors designed by Jaguar Racing and the Special Vehicle Operations, compared to three in the previous Coupe version. These motors generate an impressive 1,903 horsepower (1,400 kW) and an instantaneous torque of 3,360 Nm, offering superior traction and dynamics thanks to its all-wheel drive and torque distribution.
Acceleration and Speed
The Vision GT SV accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.65 seconds, ultimately reaching a top speed of 255 mph (410 km/h).
Advanced Technologies
With one motor for each wheel, each motor is paired with a single-speed gearbox, providing the necessary power and stability to handle high torque. These transmissions are designed for maximum efficiency and capabilities, enabling the vehicle to achieve a top speed of 255 mph.
Advanced Control
In addition to the electric all-wheel drive, the dedicated motor for each wheel contributes to absolute torque control both laterally and longitudinally, leading to a revolutionary change in torque distribution, enhancing traction, agility, and control.
