Kavak Launches the World’s Largest Customer Center in Dubai
Kavak has officially opened the doors to its record-breaking customer center in Dubai, a move set to revolutionize the used car market across the GCC. The global automotive giant, valued at $8.7 billion, recently announced its official launch in the UAE.
Redefining the Used Car Buying Experience
Unlike any other used car platform in the region, Kavak has eliminated the uncertainty that typically surrounds purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. Rather than acting as a broker between buyers and sellers, Kavak owns every vehicle in its inventory—each one undergoing a thorough 240-point inspection before joining Kavak’s extensive stock. This represents the largest certified inventory in the region, currently offering hundreds of cars ready for purchase.
Commitment to Quality and After-Sales Service
Every Kavak vehicle is meticulously maintained, with the company establishing its own service centers across the region to uphold the highest standards of quality. Kavak has already invested in a 15,000-square-meter service facility in Dubai. Once fully operational, this center will employ 150 staff and mechanical experts, handling up to 1,300 vehicles per month. Services will include refurbishment, maintenance, and warranty repairs. There are plans to open a similar customer center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Comprehensive Guarantees and Customer Assurance
Kavak vehicles come with a complimentary 90-day warranty, an optional extended warranty, and a 7-day return policy. The company takes pride in its rigorous inspection process and full ownership of its inventory, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer service before, during, and after the purchase.
Seamless Online Car Buying Experience
In addition to Kavak’s physical showroom, customers can complete the entire purchasing process online via Kavak.com, providing convenient access to customers throughout the region.
Leadership Insights on Kavak’s Vision
Commenting on Kavak’s unique strategy, Marwan Shaar, Co-CEO of Kavak GCC, stated: “Quality standards are the most critical concern in the global used car market. Kavak’s model has disrupted the industry by delivering consistency and reliability, giving customers complete confidence in their purchase. Kavak also offers warranties of up to two years, ensuring true peace of mind. The GCC presents an incredible opportunity to deliver a transparent and premium user experience for buying and selling used cars, and we are excited to embark on this journey with Kavak.”
Kavak’s Global Expansion and Future Plans in the GCC
Founded in Mexico in 2016 by Carlos Garcia Ottati, Kavak is a technology-driven used car platform with a presence in ten countries, including Turkey and now the GCC. The company is set to invest $130 million over the next two years to establish and expand its operations across the Gulf region.
