The "Defender V8" and the "Defender V8 Carpathian Edition" deliver a remarkable blend of performance and superior capabilities, with modifications to the chassis that provide new levels of driving enjoyment and agility on both regular and rugged terrains.

Land Rover’s Heritage in Eight-Cylinder Vehicles

The new models extend decades of Land Rover's heritage with eight-cylinder vehicles, which include:

• Stage I V8 from the 1970s
• Special specification vehicles for North America from the 1990s
• Defender Works V8

The new distinctive engine joins a range of the latest Ingenium petrol and diesel engines, along with advanced plug-in hybrid powertrains from Land Rover.

Updates to the Defender V8

The new eight-cylinder petrol engine is not the only addition; the "XS Edition" has also been introduced, featuring new package options that enhance exterior design customization and a larger 11.4-inch touchscreen for the Pivi Pro infotainment system.
