The New GLE Badge

With the advent of GLA – based on A-class, the next-gen M-Class will carry the new GLE badge when it goes on sale next year. This is a good move and helps customers understand what market segment that particular SUV is catering to.

Upcoming Changes

Soon, the GLK will be replaced with GLC and the range-topping GL will carry the GLS badge.

GLE Coupe

Moreover, the SUV coupe concept unveiled earlier will likely carry the GLE Coupe badge as it competes with the BMW X6. Only, the G-Wagen will retain its badge for now.
