Nissan has unveiled its all-new IMQ concept car at the Geneva International Motor Show, merging advanced technologies with a design that showcases the future of crossover vehicles.
The IMQ concept seamlessly integrates Japanese heritage with cutting-edge human-centric technology. It embodies Nissan's vision for the future of mobility, represented through its innovative "Nissan Intelligent Mobility" approach. The design highlights Nissan's leadership in the crossover segment, offering a distinctive outlook that hints at the future of crossover vehicles.
e-POWER Technology in the IMQ
The IMQ concept is equipped with the next generation of e-POWER technology, a fully electric engine system that provides stable and immediate acceleration. This technology has been developed based on the current generation found in Nissan's best-selling "Note" and "Serena" models in Japan.
The new version of e-POWER technology featured in the IMQ delivers the following:
- 250 kilowatts of power.
- Torque of 700 Newton meters.
Advanced All-Wheel Drive System
This high power is channeled through a new multi-motor all-wheel-drive system, providing precise and independent control for each wheel. The combination of e-POWER technology and all-wheel drive is ideal for driving on slippery roads, such as the snowy Alpine routes near Geneva.
ProPILOT Driving Assistance System
The IMQ offers further insights into Nissan's technological vision, equipped with an advanced prototype version of Nissan's ProPILOT driving assistance system, which enhances the driving experience with improved autonomy.
Additionally, this model showcases Nissan's "From Invisible to Visible" technology, unveiled in January 2019 at the Consumer Electronics Show in the United States.
