The Eastern Province Municipality, in coordination with the Eastern Province Traffic Department, has announced a partial closure of three roads in the Al-Mazrouiah area. This closure will last for 45 days, starting from Sunday, October 10, 2021, until November 5, 2021.
Affected Roads
- King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Road heading from the north to the south towards King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Street.
- King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Road heading from the east to the west towards Najd Street.
- Najd Street heading towards the intersection of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Road and King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Road from the west to the east.
Reasons for Closure
The closure is necessary for maintenance work and development purposes on the affected roads.

Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Sufyan, the official spokesperson for the Eastern Province Municipality, indicated that the General Administration of Operations and Maintenance will carry out the necessary maintenance and development work on the road. Therefore, road users are advised to utilize the alternative routes provided throughout this period.
