One of the most significant cars today is the Porsche 918 Spyder, recognized as the most technologically advanced vehicle ever produced by Porsche. Recently showcased at Pebble Beach, the car captured the attention of many, including comedian and host of The Tonight Show on NBC, Jay Leno, who learned a great deal about the car and took it for a spin around the city.
Porsche 918 Spyder Performance
Frank Walliser, head of the Porsche 918 Spyder program, explained everything about the car to Leno. He highlighted that the total power output is a remarkable 887 horsepower, achieved when the 4.6-liter V8 engine works in tandem with a pair of electric motors.
Additionally, the 918 Spyder can operate solely on battery power for approximately 10 to 16 miles before switching to hybrid or race mode.
