Dubai RTA Launches Paperless Receipts for Enhanced Customer Experience
Overview of the Paperless Initiative
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has rolled out paperless receipts at all customer happiness centers. This initiative aligns with the government's paperless initiative and aims to provide convenient digital transactions to all members of the community. The switch to paperless transactions includes bills, receipts, and tickets issued for various violations.
Implementation of Digital Transactions
The RTA has confirmed that it has already begun sending receipts at all customer happiness centers via email and text messages. All details of the transaction, invoices, and receipts are now issued in a digital format, eliminating the need for printed documents.
Updating Customer Information
RTA urges customers and motorists to update their phone numbers and email addresses in their traffic files. This can be done by contacting them through their toll-free number (8009090).
Benefits of the Paperless Approach
The initiative supports the precautionary measures to curb the outbreak of Covid-19 and contributes to operational efficiency by bypassing the printing of offense tickets. This not only eliminates costs but also promotes a greener and cleaner working environment.
