UAE Corvette Club: Enhancing Safe Driving
Club Foundation
Founded in 2007, the UAE Corvette Club is an exclusive members-only club dedicated to exploring parts of the city while promoting safe driving on the roads of the UAE. Managed by a cohesive group of members who have grown into a small family, the club has fostered a close-knit community since its inception.
Safe Driving Initiatives
The UAE Corvette Club is the first officially recognized Corvette club in the UAE, sanctioned by the Emirates Motorsport Federation. The club prohibits illegal street racing, speeding, and tire burning. While the club is unlikely to endorse such behaviors, it embodies the essence of responsible driving on public roads.
Club Members
Currently, the club consists of approximately 50 members, with plans to expand as they celebrate their tenth anniversary in 2017. The club takes a strong stance on safe driving, viewing the entire process as a responsibility in the hands of its founder rather than merely a group of speed-loving car enthusiasts.
Trips and Activities
Covering a distance of 53.4 km, we began our journey from the ENOC gas station on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road to Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. Along the way, we encountered numerous beautiful sights that highlighted the stunning American cars.
