The Dubai Police fleet is renowned as one of the most luxurious and sportiest police fleets globally, featuring a wide range of extremely expensive and high-performance vehicles. The latest addition to this fleet is the 2015 BMW i8 (i8 Prices and Specifications).
Car Design
The 2015 BMW i8 looks absolutely stunning in the Dubai Police colors, even more appealing than the traditional blue and black uniforms. The green and white patrol car resembles a vehicle from the future, making it truly captivating.
Car Performance
The BMW i8 is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with an electric motor, producing a combined output of 362 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. This impressive power allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of about 250 km/h.

Unique Interior Features
Unlike other luxury vehicles in the Dubai Police fleet, this car features two front seats and two rear seats. Theoretically, this allows the Dubai Police to use it for transporting suspects—what a ride it would be! Lucky criminals in the back could enjoy cup holders “in case they are arrested with hot beverages,” and they will get to experience one of the most advanced cars in the world.

The last vehicle added to the Dubai Police fleet before the i8 was the Brabus G-Wagon.
Of course, the Dubai Police do not use these cars for actual policing duties; they rely on modified vehicles that can be trusted, such as Chevrolet, Toyota, and Nissan. However, these luxury cars serve promotional purposes, helping to enhance the image of the Dubai Police and adding a more human touch to this important institution.
