2018 Mitsubishi Pajero: Comprehensive Review
Tags:
Introduction
The Mitsubishi Pajero first entered the global market in 1982 and has undergone numerous changes over the years, becoming one of the most recognized SUVs worldwide. The Japanese manufacturer owes much of the Pajero's success to its popularity in the Gulf region.
Vehicle Design
The 2018 model of the Pajero retains the design of its predecessor, making it difficult to distinguish between the 2018 model seen at the exhibition and the widely available 2017 model. The company adopted the philosophy of "Why change a successful design?". Nevertheless, the Pajero continues to be a favored choice for a practical family SUV.
Engine Options
Similar to the previous model, the 2018 Pajero is available in both three-door and five-door variants. It also offers two engine options, just like its predecessor:
- First Engine: 3.5-liter V6, producing 189 horsepower and 306 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
- Second Engine: 3.8-liter V6, delivering 239 horsepower and 329 Nm of torque, combined with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The more powerful version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 10.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 200 km/h.
