Over the past few years, these large Japanese SUVs have been in fierce competition, but the Nissan Patrol seems to have claimed the crown in terms of popularity, as evidenced by its presence on the roads.
New Updates in the 2020 Nissan Patrol
Following a leak of information from a Russian automotive website last month, images of the 2020 Nissan Patrol surfaced online. Although the current generation has been in production since 2010, Nissan has opted to refresh its flagship SUV with a mid-cycle update rather than introducing an entirely new model.
Exterior Design
The refreshed Patrol features a bolder front fascia with a larger grille and redesigned headlights. At the rear, the vehicle sports wider taillights, sharper lines, and an abundance of chrome, reminiscent of its cousin, the Infiniti QX80.

Interior Design
Inside, the Patrol appears to have undergone minimal changes, except for the addition of two large screens dominating the center console. The quality of materials, fit, and finish seems to remain as high as ever. As shown in the image, the interior color appears to have been updated to a vibrant red, though this may simply be due to bright lighting.
Engine and Performance
Regarding the engine specifications, we do not anticipate any changes or modifications. The 2020 Patrol is expected to be equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that produces 400 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
