GMC updated the GMC Acadia in 2013 (See prices of Acadia 2015 here), with a major facelift at the front and a minor one at the back, making the car looks more closely like its bigger sibling, the GMC Yukon (Check out Yukon’s prices here).
The more rugged looks didn't change much in the practicality of the car and we found out 5 things to like about the GMC Acadia 2015.
1) The Unibody Construction
GMC introduced the GMC Acadia back in 2007. Built atop of the GM Lambda platform meant that the crossover was a unibody construction, not a body on rail like the truck based previous SUVs, such as the GMC Envoy which the Acadia replaces. The unibody construction meant much better handling on the road and much improved safety. The better design meant the car was rated by the NHTSA with 5 star top safety ratings.

2) Third Row Seats
Another reason that helped the Acadia to replace the Envoy was the third row of seats. GMC saw the need of customers who wanted the same functionality of mini vans but hated the looks and feels of minivans.
3) The engine
The 3.7 liter V6 engine produces about 288 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque, which is class leading in terms of power. But more power meant higher fuel consumption, thus this car consumes 13 Liter / 100 km of fuel on average. Remember the road test we did for the Acadia Denali 2015? 4) The new looks
The older Acadia looked like a Korean small SUV. However, the facelift in 2013 onwards meant the Acadia looked more like its older sibling, the Yukon, making it truly American.
5) Second Row Seats
The Second Row separate seats means much easier access to the third row, and much better space for child seats, as well as more freedom for the second row passenger in modifying their seating position.
