New Speed Radars on Al Ittihad Ring Road in Al Ain for Enhanced Traffic Safety

Al Ittihad Ring Road in Al Ain city introduces eight new radars that will go live today.

Traffic Safety Plan

A comprehensive traffic safety plan along the internal roads and motorways of Al Ain includes the installment of 57 new radars, with the radars on Al Ittihad Ring Road being a critical part of this initiative.

Speed Detection Limit

The radar detection speed is set at 141 kph. Traffic police expect this measure to control the number of serious accidents and injuries.

Installation in High-Risk Areas

Col Khalifa Mohammed Al Khaili, director of the traffic and roads safety section, stated that the new radars will be installed in the most accident-prone areas.
