Cadillac Middle East, in collaboration with its local dealer in Kuwait, Alghanim Cadillac, showcased the all-new XT4 at the Kuwait Motor Show 2019, which runs until January 26. The company's platform also featured a selection of other latest models from the Cadillac lineup, including the Escalade, XT5, and CTS-V.
Introducing the XT4
The Cadillac House in Manhattan, New York, hosted the first global unveiling of the XT4 in March 2018. This model marks Cadillac's entry into the compact SUV segment, proudly presented to automotive enthusiasts attending this global event.
Engine Specifications and Technology
The XT4 is equipped with a brand-new Cadillac 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, generating an impressive 237 horsepower as certified by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). It is paired with a next-generation nine-speed automatic transmission featuring Electronic Precision Shift (EPS).
This new engine boasts innovative technologies that enhance fuel efficiency, including:
- Active Fuel Management (AFM), which deactivates cylinders as needed.
Design and Performance
The XT4 features a uniquely designed compact SUV architecture, providing expressive styling, reliable performance, and a spacious, comfortable interior. It is equipped with a suite of class-leading technologies aimed at capturing the interest of younger customers in the Middle East.
Cadillac Lineup
In addition to the Premium Luxury and Sport trims of the XT4, Cadillac's lineup also includes:
- Escalade – the large and luxurious SUV.
- XT5 – the midsize SUV.
- CTS-V and CT6 – the premium sedans.
