The presentation took place at the Etihad Towers, hosted by Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer and professional Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who described it as "the hypercar of the decade."
CEO's Statement
Aston Martin's President and CEO, Andy Palmer, expressed his excitement, stating: "I am thrilled to be in Abu Dhabi to present the AMRB 001 for the first time in the region, and what could be better than unveiling it just hours before the Formula 1 race? Everyone involved in creating this car is incredibly proud, and I have no doubt it will make history in the automotive world. The reception it has received globally has been overwhelming, and we expect the same here in the Middle East."
Car Design
This masterpiece, crafted by Red Bull Racing's Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey and Aston Martin's Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman, showcases Formula 1 technology combined with an exciting sports car design. The AMRB 001 is engineered for both public roads and racetrack performance, differentiating itself from standard road vehicles.
Constructed from lightweight carbon fiber panels, this vehicle is specifically designed, from its tires to its high-revving naturally aspirated 12-cylinder engine. It boasts an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 1:1, with an estimated price of AED 11,500,000, and deliveries are set to begin in 2019.
