Citroën Prepares for CITROËN NIGHTRIDE to Support Dubai Cares

European automaker Citroën is gearing up for the second edition of the CITROËN NIGHTRIDE, taking place during Ramadan to support Dubai Cares as part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
Event Objectives
The "Night Adventures" event in 2023 aims to:
- Promote the Emirati tradition of giving.
- Raise awareness about the importance of physical activity during Ramadan.
Event Information
The event will kick off on March 27 at 8:30 PM and conclude at 11:30 PM on the Al Qudra cycling track. Cyclists of all experience levels will gather at the starting point to choose between two routes:
- 30 km
- 50 km
The night will feature a festive atmosphere filled with adventure and exploration.
Citroën's Partnership with Dubai Cares
For a long time, Citroën has been involved in the cycling world by sponsoring various cycling teams, including the AG2R Citroën team since 2021. This partnership aligns with the company's overarching goal of advocating for sustainable and eco-friendly transportation.
Contributing to Educational Support
Citroën plans to donate 50 AED to Dubai Cares for each participant, aiming to raise up to 20,000 AED. The funds will assist the humanitarian organization in its efforts to provide educational opportunities for youth in developing countries, enabling them to reach their full potential through education. Dubai Cares has already positively impacted over 21 million beneficiaries across 60 developing countries.

Dubai Cares recently launched the "Global Education Transformation Framework" as part of its efforts to reform education worldwide. This framework aims to promote a collective and collaborative approach across various sectors to transform education by encouraging new partnerships and engaging diverse actors in the education sector. It provides an opportunity for communities, cities, and countries to adopt, adapt, and transform their educational systems based on their unique aspirations.
Additionally, Dubai Cares has been selected as the exclusive educational partner for the COP28 conference, where it will host the leading (RewirEd) summit, focusing on integrating climate and education and prioritizing education on the global climate agenda.
