Dania Aqeel Ignites the Desert Challenge at Abu Dhabi Rally 2024
Saudi champion Dania Aqeel is set to participate in the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, which is the second round of the World Series for Cross-Country Rallies (W2RC), taking place from February 25 to March 3.
Stages and Challenges
Dania will compete in five stages, starting with a qualifying stage featuring new tracks for the first time since 2002 in the Al Mazairah area, followed by two days through the city of Al Dhafra, and then into Liwa with open sandy tracks and dense dunes. All of these stages are included in the W2RC calendar.

On this occasion, Dania Aqeel expressed her excitement, stating: "I am extremely happy to participate in the Abu Dhabi Rally, especially with the formidable stages and challenges. My goal is to achieve top positions for a strong experience that will elevate my career to advanced levels."
Previous Achievements
Rally champion Dania Aqeel has announced her launch for the 2024 season in both international and local categories. She will compete locally in the T1 Plus Ultimate class with a Toyota Hilux in the Saudi Toyota 2024 Championship alongside the OverDrive Racing team. This will enhance her local experience, especially with her participation in previous Saudi Toyota championships and the Dakar Rally Saudi Arabia three times, gaining familiarity with the Kingdom's challenging terrains.
