Increased Parking Fees at Dubai Airport: Details and New Discounts
New Aircraft Parking Rates
At one of the busiest airports in the world, for the first time in a decade, parking fees at Dubai Airport have been raised for both long-term and short-term parking. This increase means that picking up and dropping off friends or family may become somewhat costly.
- Long-term parking (B-Zone): Increased by 5 AED, now 25 AED per hour.
- Short-term parking (A-Zone): Increased from 20 AED to 30 AED per hour.
Complaints and New Discounts
Many people have complained about being charged for a full hour of parking, even when they spent less than half an hour. However, there is good news for those who wish to park for an entire day; a spokesperson confirmed a 55% reduction in parking rates.
- Luxury parking fees have been reduced from 280 AED to 125 AED.
- Long-term parking fees have been reduced from 140 AED to 85 AED.
Improvements to the Car Parking Facility
Recently, significant investments have been made to enhance the car parking facility at the airport. Plans are in place to expand and build a new multi-story facility that will accommodate approximately 3,500 parking spaces over the next two years.
