Exciting News for Polestar Fans
Starting in 2017, the S60 and V60 will transition from their previous 3.0-liter inline-six engines to new 2.0-liter turbocharged and supercharged engines. This change promises increased power along with improved fuel efficiency, providing a robust output of 367 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, compared to the previous output of 340 horsepower and 346 lb-ft.

This marks a significant upgrade, as the engine will now feature an 8-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. However, the top speed remains limited to 250 km/h. The vehicles are also lighter by 20 kg, and enhancements have been made to the electric steering and braking systems. These specifications are tailored for the European market and may vary slightly upon their arrival in the Gulf region, which we anticipate will occur by the end of this year.
