At the opening of Infiniti’s newest showroom and service facility in Sharjah’s Souq Al Haraj area, Michel Ayat, the CEO of Arabian Automobiles Infiniti, sat down for an exclusive interview with us to better explain the unique features of the facility and upcoming plans for the year.
Q. In a few simple words could you tell us what makes this all-new Infiniti facility unique?
Just like most other things in Dubai, Infiniti’s all-new facility is different and unique in four main ways. Starting off with the design, this all-new facility flaunts Infiniti’s Retail Environment Design Initiative (IREDI) and meets the world-class standards found in Infiniti showrooms across the globe. Moving on to its size, this facility permits us to display up to ten vehicles at any given time in the showroom, a sizeable achievement indeed. The fact that this is the first Arabian Automobiles Infiniti facility to have a showroom and service center on the same grounds is unique as well, as is the one-day turnaround time for vehicles. Lastly, it is the location of this new facility that is unique as it will cater to our customers from Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Sharjah as well.
Q. From a sales perspective, what sort of percentage increase are you expecting with this new facility?
Firstly, let me start by saying that Arabian Automobiles Infiniti is the largest Infiniti dealer in the GCC and Middle East. The objective of this facility is to improve market share, but we aim to do so by focusing on the customer. We have customers who have been with us for decades and are extremely pleased with the service they receive. We feel that by focusing on customers and providing the best service we possibly can, sales will follow.
Q. Since this facility has been opened as part of Arabian Automobiles’ 50th anniversary celebrations, what else can we expect to see through the year?
To celebrate 50 years of Arabian Automobiles, we will be introducing the all-new Infiniti QX50 in September 2018. Along with this, you will also see several unique accessorized and modified vehicles in our showrooms, and plenty of events and forums for our loyal customers who have supported us through the years.
