2014 Toyota Corolla Review: Features, Trims, and Prices

The best-selling car in the world just got better. The 2014 Toyota Corolla features an 11th generation model available with a 1.6 liter and a brand new 2.0 liter engine. Most importantly, the new Corolla has increased its wheelbase by 100mm, resulting in class-leading rear legroom.

Style Changes

Compared to its predecessor, the new grille and rear bumper boast a much improved style. It is significantly more sporty and curvy, a design approach referred to by Toyota Chief Engineer Shinichi Yasui as "Emotional Styling". In addition, the SE+ and Limited versions receive:

• Daytime Running Lights
• Halogen projector lamps
• 16-inch alloy wheels

The height has also been lowered by 5mm to enhance stability and provide a sportier look to the car.

Interior Updates

The new interior of the 2014 Toyota Corolla includes cruise control and a sunroof in the 2.0 liter Limited model. Additionally, features like Smart Entry and Push Button Start will be available on both the 1.6 and 2.0 liter top-range models. Safety has been enhanced by the use of lightweight high-strength steel, and all models come equipped with:
