Classic and Historical Car Parade in Celebration of 6th October Victory
In celebration of the 39th anniversary of the 6th October victory and the conclusion of the Pharaons Rally, the Automobile & Touring Club of Egypt (ATCE) organized a remarkable parade of classic and historical cars. These cars are owned by club members and other Egyptians.
Event Location and Start
The event kicked off in Cairo downtown, right in front of the ATCE main office. The area, surrounded by historic buildings and located next to one of Egypt's oldest and most renowned cafés, Groppi, served as the perfect backdrop.
Attraction and Public Engagement
At 12:30 PM, the stunning lineup of cars captured the attention of bystanders. Many began photographing the vehicles with their phones and cameras. The event also drew coverage from TV shows, which interviewed car owners about their prized vehicles.
The Parade Route
With assistance from traffic officers who played a vital role in the event, the parade started an hour later. The classic cars traveled through several notable areas and streets in Cairo and Giza, including:
- Al Tahrir Square
- Qasr Al Nile Bridge
- Saray Al Jazeera Street
- Hassan Sabry Street
