Infiniti makes a video explaining name strategy

Infiniti made a video explaining their new naming strategy, where each of its model names now start with the letter Q. This video will help clear up any confusion.

Infiniti uses the letter “Q” for its regular models and “QX” for its tall riding models like their SUVs and crossovers, after the letters a number comes to indicate the car’s position in Infiniti’s hierarchy of models.

The Q50 model was the first one to get introduced into this new strategy.
