Jaguar Land Rover Faces $3.7 Million Engine Theft
Recently, Jaguar Land Rover announced that it fell victim to a significant theft. Engines worth approximately $3.7 million were stolen from its facility in Solihull, England. Based on footage from factory cameras, the theft involved a small truck that entered the facility, where the thieves found a trailer loaded with engines. They attached the trailer to their truck and drove away. The operation was executed in two phases on the same night using the same truck, taking only six minutes to tow the first trailer.

The local police stated that the stolen trailers have been located, but they were empty. Interestingly, a similar theft occurred previously, valued at $1.2 million, which resulted in the arrest of five suspects.
A spokesperson for Jaguar commented on the incident, stating that a reward will be offered for any valuable information that could help recover the stolen engines, and they cannot provide further details while the investigation by West Midlands Police is ongoing.
