Karsten Binder: Head of Brand for Audi Middle East
Appointment of Karsten Binder
With an impressive track record at Audi AG spanning 18 years, Binder has been appointed as the Head of Brand for the Middle East. Throughout his career at Audi, he has achieved significant international milestones, having served as Sales Manager for Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, as well as Head of After-Sales Services for the European markets from the company’s headquarters in Ingolstadt. Most recently, Karsten held the position of Sales Director for Eastern and Western Europe before returning to the Middle East to serve as Audi's Sales Director from 2009 to 2011, culminating in his current role as Head of Brand for Audi in the region.
His New Responsibilities
In his new role as Head of Brand for Audi Middle East, Karsten Binder will operate from Audi Volkswagen Middle East's regional office in Dubai. He will be responsible for driving the growth of the Audi brand across 11 countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Levant region. Binder's focus will be on enhancing customer experience by setting long-term goals in several key areas, including:
- Digital transformation
- Sustainability
- Developing the company’s dealer network

Team and Challenges
Karsten Binder will carry out his new duties at Audi Middle East from the regional headquarters of Audi Volkswagen Middle East located in the Dubai Free Zone. He will lead a team of over 36 employees representing Audi, while also working to drive the brand's growth across 11 countries and providing support to 12 importers and 24 Audi dealerships throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Levant region.
