Introduction
Lamborghini relies on a tested formula for the Huracan Superleggera: increasing power while reducing weight. With a heightened focus on this equation, the Superleggera is likely to be based on a lighter rear-wheel-drive version, the LP580-2, unlike the LP610-4, which is heavier by 32 kg.
Design of the Huracan Superleggera
The model spotted at the Nürburgring features a fixed rear wing, large air vents, and high-mounted exhaust pipes, equipped with exceptional aerodynamics. Additionally, with extensive use of carbon fiber, the Superleggera is expected to come with upgraded wheels, tires, brakes, and an advanced suspension system.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the Huracan Superleggera is expected to feature a 5.2-liter V10 engine, rumored to generate 650 horsepower paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Price and Availability
While it is unlikely that we will see the Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera until next year's Geneva Motor Show, it is expected to be priced around 1,300,000 AED to bridge the price gap between the standard Huracan and the Aventador.
