New Enforcement Measures by Dubai Police

Dubai's Police Chief announced that cars will be permanently confiscated if motorists play music at full blast while driving in residential areas.

Community Complaints

Residents in Jumeirah have raised concerns about individuals driving their cars with loud music during the night. Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim highlighted these complaints, which also include noisy motorbikes.

Monitoring and Compliance

According to the police chief, both undercover officers and police patrols will be monitoring for any violations of these rules. He emphasized that this enforcement measure is not new, but a reminder for motorists to be considerate.

Advice for Motorists

Lieutenant General Tamim stated, “We are only reminding motorists to be decent while driving and to not disturb families in their homes.” He advised those who wish to listen to loud music to do so in remote areas.
