New Audi Q7: Release Delay and Technical Details

Delay in Audi Q7 Release

The release of the Audi Q7 has been postponed again by nearly a year due to changes in its design. The new Audi Q7 is now expected to debut in late next year as a 2015 model.

Weight Reduction and Modern Technologies

The new Q7 has shed approximately 650 pounds, bringing its total weight down to 5,300 pounds. This reduction is achieved through the use of aluminum and composite materials in its construction, alongside smaller engines.

Available Engines

The engine options will include:

• 3.0-liter TFSI
• 4.0-liter TFSI
• 3.0-liter TDI

There may also be hybrid models available.

Interior Design

As for the interior, we anticipate the usual elegant designs from Audi, including an optional third row for seating.
