The European Cars Company, the exclusive agent and authorized distributor for BMW in Bahrain, has unveiled the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé in the Kingdom. This latest model introduces the concept of a four-door coupé to the compact segment for the first time.

John Baddour, General Sales Manager of the European Cars Company, revealed the vehicle in the presence of automotive professionals, journalists, and influencers during a special event held at the European Cars showroom.

Performance and Specifications
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé made its global debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2019, ahead of its scheduled market launch next month.
Dynamic Design Features
The car features a sleek, extended dynamic design, four frameless side windows, and rear lights that extend to the middle of the rear, seamlessly integrating into a glossy black strip that runs to the centrally positioned BMW logo.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé is engineered to set benchmarks in its class regarding dynamics. This is based on BMW's advanced engineering in front-wheel drive, which it shares with the new BMW 1 Series, along with a range of other advanced technical features.
Standard Specifications
The standard features of the BMW M235i xDrive, the high-performance all-wheel-drive model, include:
- Torsen limited-slip mechanical differential
- M Sport steering system
- M Sport brakes
The Steptronic Sport transmission boasts eight speeds with a Launch Control setting. The three-dimensional racing grille that replaces the bars in the double front grille is inspired by the racing world and adds a stunning visual appeal.
Engine Options
Two gasoline engine options will be available at the vehicle's launch:
- A three-cylinder gasoline engine producing 103 kW (140 hp) in the BMW 218i model
- A four-cylinder engine delivering 225 kW (306 hp) in the BMW M235i xDrive model
