The Toyota Innova is a very popular family MPV in the subcontinent – especially India where it is considered a prestige – and the East Asian countries. Toyota also launched the Innova in the UAE but more than the general consumers, it became the it-vehicle for the RTA. The RTA uses Innovas to transport passengers from the airport to the required destination. Also, the Innova is quite popular with the taxis available for ladies-only. This actually plays well in the marketing strategy as we all see taxis throughout our day on the road. So, looking at so many Innovas will make you consider buying one.

Well, if you haven’t before, now is a good time to think about it as the all-new Toyota Innova is here and is going to be launched soon in the UAE. From all the leaked pictures and information available on the internet, we pretty much know everything about the car. The Toyota Innova will be built on a new platform known as the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA). This platform is apparently lighter and stiffer as compared to the current platform. This new platform is also being used in the new Fortuner.

From the looks of it, the Toyota Innova looks edgier thanks to those lights inspired by the Camry. The most significant part of the new design is the front where the huge grille is placed with chrome all over. Moreover, there are the LED DRLs, new fog lamps and ofcourse, a new bumper. The rear also receives changes and gets new taillights. However, Toyota have kept the overall design similar to the current model. Other than that, the new Innova is powered by a 2.0 liter engine producing 137 BHP and 183 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Innova was known for its captain seats in the second row and they will return in the new shape as well.
