Introduction
The Nissan "GT-R50," designed in collaboration with Italdesign, has captured attention by showcasing the best of the GT-R lineage. It made its debut today at the Dubai Autodrome during its global tour.
Global Tour of the Car
The showcase of the "GT-R50" in the region follows its appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK. The car is touring various locations worldwide, including:
- Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium
- Monterey Motorsports Reunion in the USA
- Nissan Crossing in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan
Following the success of its global tour, only 50 units inspired by this model will be produced worldwide.
Design and Specifications
Nissan collaborated with Italdesign, based in Turin, Italy, to develop this model based on the Nissan GT-R Nismo. The "GT-R50" celebrates two significant anniversaries:
- The 50th anniversary of Italdesign
- The 50th anniversary of the Nissan GT-R launch

Technical Performance
Under its new exterior, the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign boasts impressive power. Drawing on Nissan's GT3 racing experience, Nismo enhanced the hand-assembled 3.8-liter V6 VR38DETT engine, which delivers 720 horsepower and 780 Nm of torque. The modified Bilstein suspension and upgraded Brembo braking system help manage the additional power.
