Paris Motor Show 2026: The 10 Biggest Reveals and Which Ones Are Coming to the Middle East

Gulf-focused guide to Paris Motor Show 2026’s 10 biggest reveals, with UAE/Saudi launch status, range and buyer considerations.

None of these 10 models has a confirmed UAE launch as of 16 October 2026. My advice: get local specifications, warranty terms and delivery dates in writing before paying a deposit. The Mercedes-Benz GLA is expected later in 2026, while the electric AMG GT Four-Door Coupé is also expected - but neither has a verified UAE price.

Here’s my quick guide to the list:

I separate show appearances from confirmed local sales plans, checking the UAE and Saudi Arabia separately. I also explain what the range, charging and seating claims mean for Gulf buyers - without treating European prices or test figures as UAE promises.

Paris Motor Show 2026: 10 Models and Gulf Launch Status

What the Regional Launch Labels Mean

Confirmed means the manufacturer or authorised distributor has publicly named the market and provided a launch date, order window or delivery schedule. This confirms a local sales plan - not every trim, powertrain or price. Check official announcements, local model pages and booking notices.

Expected means regional evidence points to a launch, but there’s no final commitment yet. That evidence may be an on-record statement from a regional executive or a model-specific product plan. Details that haven’t been published, such as delivery timing or local specifications, stay unlisted. Rumours don’t qualify.

Unannounced means no verified local sales plan was found - not that the vehicle will never arrive. A European launch, global product page, prototype display or distributor network doesn’t prove local availability. Neither does a private import: it cannot establish official sales, warranty support, parts availability or type approval.

The UAE and Saudi Arabia are assessed separately. Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman are included only when sources identify a model-specific local plan. Example: Al-Futtaim BYD KSA announced the BYD SHARK 6 for Saudi customers on 2 October 2025, with availability starting on 1 October 2025. That supports Saudi confirmation - not UAE availability.

For each model, record the named distributor, announcement date and delivery window. Mark unpublished regional prices as ‘not announced’; don’t convert European prices into UAE figures. Use AED for UAE prices and SAR for Saudi prices, and use ‘from’ only when the starting price is verified.

Before paying a deposit, get the local specification, warranty and delivery terms in writing.

Use these labels to read the model-by-model entries below.

1. Mercedes-Benz GLC

Paris Reveal and Production Status

The all-electric Mercedes-Benz GLC appeared in Paris after its first unveiling in September 2025. It is now in production at Bremen, on a flexible line shared with combustion, hybrid and EQE models.

Powertrain and Technology

The GLC 400 4MATIC with EQ Technology pairs dual motors and all-wheel drive with a 94 kWh usable battery. It uses the MB.EA architecture, an 800-volt system and MB.OS software. Mercedes-Benz quotes up to 715 km of WLTP range and 330 kW DC charging with compatible equipment. UAE figures have not yet been announced.

Middle East Buyer Fit

For UAE buyers, the main question is how the GLC’s range and charging perform in local heat and on highways. Its premium SUV format suits family use, particularly for owners who can charge at home or work.

Before buying, check summer performance, charging coverage, boot space and service support. An 800-volt system alone does not guarantee peak charging speed: charger output, battery temperature and state of charge all affect the result.

Regional Launch Status, Timing and Price

The technical package is global, but local sales plans and launch dates remain unannounced.

UAE - Unannounced. No official local launch date, trim details or AED price have been confirmed.

Saudi Arabia - Unannounced. The published starting price of SAR 326,900 is for the existing GLC 200 4MATIC - not the electric GLC.

2. Mercedes-Benz CLA

Paris Reveal and Production Status

Mercedes stays in the Paris spotlight, but the CLA moves the focus from SUVs to compact saloons. Paris highlights the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45, while production of the standard new CLA began in June 2025.

Powertrain and Technology

The new CLA family uses the MMA platform, with fully electric and 48V mild-hybrid powertrains, plus Mercedes-Benz’s MB.OS operating system.

The electric CLA has an 800-volt system, DC charging at up to 320 kW and a two-speed transmission on the rear motor. Equipment varies by market. Reports also point to an all-electric AMG CLA 45 with three axial-flux motors and all-wheel drive.

For buyers, the choice comes down to efficiency and access to charging.

Middle East Buyer Fit

The CLA suits city driving in the UAE and across the Gulf rather than rough tracks. Electric buyers should check home or workplace charging access and realistic hot-weather range. Mild-hybrid versions offer the design without relying on charging.

Regional Launch Status, Timing and Price

UAE - Unannounced. No UAE launch date or AED price has been announced for the new CLA or AMG CLA 45.

Saudi Arabia - Unannounced officially. A secondary listing gives 16 July 2026 as the launch date, with the CLA 200 starting at SAR 248,066 and the CLA 220 4MATIC at SAR 307,951. These prices cover the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol mild-hybrids with eight-speed dual-clutch transmissions. Local prices for the electric CLA and AMG CLA 45 have not been announced.

3. Mercedes-Benz VLE

Paris Reveal and Production Status

Mercedes-Benz gave the VLE its Paris debut on 12 October 2026, following IAA Transportation in Hannover. After SUVs and saloons, the brand turned to a full-size people mover - its most people-focused Paris reveal. The VLE is a production model, but regional availability remains unconfirmed.

Powertrain and Technology

The VLE seats up to eight and pairs an 800-volt architecture with a 115 kWh NMC battery. Mercedes-Benz claims more than 700 km of WLTP range and up to 319 km of added range in 15 minutes under suitable conditions. Neither figure guarantees the same performance in the UAE.

Middle East Buyer Fit

For Middle East buyers, the VLE’s main role is as a full-size family and fleet shuttle. Its passenger capacity suits large families, chauffeur services and airport transfers.

Before ordering, check luggage space with every seat occupied, rear-seat comfort, climate control and the regional battery warranty. Also check charging times with all seats occupied.

Regional Launch Status, Timing and AED Price

UAE - Unannounced. Price not announced. Local specifications, delivery dates and allocations remain unconfirmed. Get written confirmation from an authorised Mercedes-Benz retailer before paying a deposit. European specifications do not confirm UAE availability.

Saudi Arabia - Unannounced. Price not announced.

4. Mercedes-Benz GLB

Paris Reveal and Production Status

The new GLB is Mercedes-Benz’s compact three-row option, listed as a Paris show premiere for 12–18 October 2026. Mercedes is showing electric and mild-hybrid variants, but the Paris reveal does not confirm final specifications or delivery timing. The GLB sits between the VLE people mover and the smaller GLA.

Powertrain and Technology

Electric versions include the GLB 250+ and GLB 350 4MATIC. They feature an 85 kWh usable battery, DC charging at up to 320 kW and a quoted 10–80% charging time of about 22 minutes.

Mercedes-Benz claims a WLTP range of more than 600 km. Charging performance depends on battery temperature and charger output. The hybrid GLB uses a 48-volt system with an electric motor built into the transmission.

Middle East Buyer Fit

The GLB offers up to seven seats, though the third row is best kept for occasional use. That seating flexibility is its main draw for UAE families, but seven-seat availability in the Gulf remains unconfirmed.

Regional Launch Status, Timing

UAE - Unannounced. No price announced.

Saudi Arabia - Unannounced. No price announced.

For buyers after a smaller Mercedes SUV, the GLA follows.

5. Mercedes-Benz GLA

Paris Reveal and Production Status

The all-new, third-generation Mercedes-Benz GLA debuted in Paris as a production model, giving Gulf city drivers a smaller premium SUV option. It uses the MMA platform, shared with the GLA and EQA, and supports 48-volt mild-hybrid powertrains. German production is reported to start in September 2026. The GLA is the most compact electric Mercedes SUV on this list.

Powertrain and Technology

European specifications list an 85 kWh battery and up to 657 km of WLTP range for the electric GLA 250+. Claimed charging performance adds up to 270 km of range in 10 minutes using a 320 kW DC charger. A 48-volt mild-hybrid version is also planned.

Middle East Buyer Fit

The GLA suits buyers who want a compact premium SUV for city use, with five seats, a higher driving position and Mercedes-Benz cabin tech. The electric model offers a 410-litre boot and a 107-litre front storage compartment.

For UAE buyers with regular charging access, the electric version makes sense. Hybrids suit longer journeys and areas with fewer charging points. Use local hot-weather range figures rather than WLTP figures as your Gulf reference. Regional arrival dates remain the bigger question for buyers.

Regional Launch Status, Timing and AED Price

UAE - Expected later in 2026. Exact delivery dates, local variants and AED pricing have not been announced.

Saudi Arabia - Unannounced. No verified launch date, local specifications or SAR pricing is available.

6. Mercedes-AMG GT Four-Door Coupé

Paris Reveal and Production Status

Mercedes then moves from compact SUVs to its performance flagship. Mercedes-AMG showed the GT XX in Paris, previewing its next GT Four-Door Coupé and its first dedicated electric performance coupé built on the AMG.EA platform.

The quoted figures are bold: a tri-motor setup producing 1,341 hp, a top speed of about 359 km/h and charging capability of up to 850 kW. For now, though, these are prototype figures - not confirmed production specifications.

Middle East Buyer Fit

For UAE and Gulf buyers, the GT XX’s focus on heat management and fast charging in hot climates deserves attention.

Regional Launch Status, Timing and AED Price

UAE - Expected, not confirmed. A UAE launch is expected, but no verified delivery date, local specification or AED price has been announced.

Saudi Arabia - Unannounced. There is no verified launch date, specification or SAR price.

7. Geely Project KO11

Paris Reveal and Production Status

Geely moves the list from established premium nameplates to an SUV whose details are still taking shape. It previewed Project KO11 on 12 October 2026 as a high-performance all-terrain SUV intended for production. KO11 remains a working name, with Geely targeting Europe by the end of 2027.

Powertrain and Technology

Geely has confirmed a plug-in-hybrid powertrain, advanced suspension and smart all-terrain driving modes. It has not yet published power output, battery capacity or electric range. Reports link KO11 to the Chinese-market Geely Cruiser 700, but that model’s figures have not been confirmed for KO11.

Middle East Buyer Fit

All-terrain claims do not prove desert readiness. Ground clearance, differential locks, tyres and a sand-driving mode are still unconfirmed. Buyers should ask for local specifications covering battery cooling, dust protection and a full-size spare wheel.

Regional Launch Status, Timing and AED Price

UAE - Unannounced. There is no confirmed local launch date, importer announcement or price in AED.

Saudi Arabia - Unannounced. There is no confirmed launch date or price in SAR.

8. Toyota Yaris Cross Made in France

Toyota’s Yaris Cross Made in France has not been confirmed for a debut at the Paris Motor Show 2026.

Toyota has mentioned a Toyota Sense 4.0 update. However, it hasn’t announced model-specific powertrain details, performance figures, launch timing or regional pricing.

UAE - Unannounced as of 16 October 2026. No launch date or price in AED has been verified.

Saudi Arabia - Unannounced as of 16 October 2026. No launch date or price in SAR has been verified.

9. Electric MOKE Mk2

Paris reveal and production status

MOKE International unveiled the second-generation Electric MOKE Mk2 in Paris. It builds on the 2022 electric MOKE as a niche leisure EV.

Powertrain and technology

The Mk2’s 33 kW rear motor produces 44 hp, with a top speed of 80 km/h. Its 23.5 kWh battery delivers a claimed 170 km WLTP range.

A 6.6 kW onboard AC charger takes the battery from 20% to 80% in about two hours. A full charge takes around seven hours on a 3.2 kW home supply. DC fast charging isn’t supported.

Practical features include an 86-litre lockable front storage compartment, a rear charging port and USB-C connectivity.

Middle East buyer fit

The Mk2 suits resorts, private compounds and beach use - not daily family duties. No Gulf heat rating has been published. The stated 25°C is a charging test condition, not a heat rating.

Before ordering, check battery cooling, summer use, protection against dust and salt-air exposure, and arrangements for shaded storage and charging. The WLTP range isn’t a promise of what you’ll get in a Gulf summer.

Regional launch status, timing and AED price

UAE and Saudi Arabia - Unannounced. Neither market has a confirmed authorised distributor, local approval or delivery date. Prices in AED and SAR also remain unannounced. For now, it’s one to watch rather than a confirmed local purchase.

The next entry moves from a niche leisure EV to a more mainstream pickup.

10. Ford Ranger MS-RT Champion Edition

The supplied sources do not verify a Paris 2026 reveal for the Ford Ranger MS-RT Champion Edition. Engine, chassis, payload, towing and warranty details are also unconfirmed.

The model remains unannounced in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The next section separates confirmed regional launches from models that remain unannounced.

The final section looks at which models may be worth waiting for.

Which Models Are Worth Waiting For?

The launch labels above point to a few clear choices for UAE buyers.

Best UAE bets: the Mercedes-Benz GLC, CLA, GLB and GLA, pending final confirmation of specifications, warranty and delivery dates.

Best performance pick: the Mercedes-AMG GT Four-Door Coupé. Mercedes-Benz Middle East lists UAE prices for the 63 S E PERFORMANCE from AED 563,900 to AED 1,032,900, including 5% VAT.

Worth monitoring only: the Mercedes-Benz VLE could suit larger families, with seating for up to eight and a claimed WLTP range of more than 700 km. But UAE availability, local specifications and charging capability remain unconfirmed. Before paying a deposit, get written confirmation of charging compatibility, DC charging speed, battery cooling, warranty, roadside assistance and service coverage.

No confirmed regional launch: Geely Project KO11, Toyota Yaris Cross Made in France, Electric MOKE Mk2 and Ford Ranger MS-RT Champion Edition. As of 16 October 2026, none has a confirmed Middle East launch statement or an authorised local order channel.

FAQs

How should I assess EV range for UAE summers?

Look beyond headline range figures and prioritise advanced battery thermal management and cooling. Standard ratings are only a baseline: high temperatures and heavy air-conditioning use can cut driving range. An 800-volt or 900-volt architecture supports ultra-fast charging, helping reduce downtime.

For long-distance travel across the Emirates, range-extended electric vehicles (REEVs) or plug-in hybrids pair electric efficiency for daily commutes with petrol backup to ease range anxiety.

What warranty risks come with privately importing these models?

Privately imported vehicles (grey market imports) may not come with manufacturer-backed support in the region. For example, a Chinese-specification XPENG GX may have a 5-year/120,000 km warranty, compared with 7-year/160,000 km coverage for a GCC-specification model.

Private imports may also be excluded from extended regional coverage. This could leave owners paying all repair costs themselves, with no access to official service networks.

Should I wait for a UAE launch before paying a deposit?

Your next step depends on the vehicle’s UAE status. XPENG GX pre-bookings are already open. For the BMW i3 Sedan, compare trim options before pre-orders open in Q3 2026.

For the FREELANDER 8, wait until pricing, specifications and a launch date are confirmed before committing. Before paying a deposit, prioritise verified UAE model grades and pricing.
