Private Taxi Service for Individuals with Disabilities in Abu Dhabi
Introduction
The private taxi service for individuals with disabilities has been launched by the Taxi Regulatory Center under the Ministry of Transport (DOT) this Tuesday.
Service Details
The project initially introduced eight Mercedes Vito vehicles that will be operated by both male and female drivers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Center's Vision
Masoud Mohammed Hashim, the Assistant Director General for Compliance, Licensing, and Customer Service, stated that the new service aligns with the center's aspirations to lead taxi services in accordance with international best practices. The center continuously strives to ensure the highest level of services that align with the objectives of Abu Dhabi.

These vehicles are specifically designed to meet high-quality standards, incorporating technologies that assist individuals with disabilities of all ages, ensuring safety and comfort.
