Fuel Prices for June 2019 in the UAE

Announcement from the Ministry of Energy and Industry

The fuel prices for June 2019 have been announced by the Ministry of Energy and Industry. Following a series of increases, the fuel prices for June (including VAT) are as follows:

Gasoline and Diesel Prices

• Super 98 Gasoline: AED 2.53 per liter, an increase of AED 0.05 from May.
• Super 95 Gasoline: AED 2.42 per liter, an increase of AED 0.08 from May.
• Diesel: AED 2.56 per liter, an increase of AED 0.03 from May.

Reasons for the Price Increase

The consensus on pricing is attributed to OPEC cuts and U.S. sanctions on fuel exports from Iran and Venezuela. OPEC, along with a few allies including Russia, is scheduled to meet on June 25 and 26 to discuss production policies.
