2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Launch in UAE

Overview of the Launch

The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe has officially launched in the UAE. We covered the launch event on YallaMotor.com as well.

Expectations and Variants

We expect the new Santa Fe to be a much lighter car, which should lead to improved fuel economy. Additionally, the interiors are set to receive enhancements in terms of technology and finishing. There are two variants of the Santa Fe:

• A 5-seater Sport version
• A 7-seater long wheelbase version

The Sport version is expected to be introduced first, while the 7-seater variant will be available next year.

Design and Performance

The new design concept features bolder lines on the exterior. While the engine is not anticipated to be a powerhouse, the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to excel in terms of agility.

Engine Specifications

In the US market, multiple engine variants are available. However, showrooms in Saudi Arabia and other GCC markets will likely receive the 2.4L engine, while Egypt may receive a smaller engine variant. Full specifications are yet to be revealed.
