We are currently in Jordan for an exciting event. We have been invited by Ford Middle East to experience the power of driving American vehicles on rugged terrains. Throughout our journey, we will drive various Ford models, including:
2016 Ford Edge Details
We are proud to be the first media outlet in the Middle East to test the all-new Ford Edge. This is the second generation of the Ford Edge, first unveiled in 2013 and launched in the American market last year. It has since made its way to Europe and now to the Middle East.
Ford Edge Design
The new Ford Edge is built on a completely new platform and features design elements reminiscent of the Taurus and Explorer. Customers can expect to see:
- New headlights
- LED taillights
- Increased cabin space
- Rearview camera
Engines and Performance
The Ford Edge offers a new 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine producing 208 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. Additionally, it features a 3.5-liter V6 and a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. All variants come with all-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
