An answer to its BMW 6-Series calling, the Lexus LC is the Japanese brand’s flagship production coupe that promises to deliver the spirit of the famed LFA and the visual impact of the striking LF-LC Concept – the latter of which it most certainly accomplishes.

Overview of the Lexus LC

Representing the evolution of the marque into a lifestyle brand, the Lexus LC symbolizes a new phase that encompasses greater synergy between engineering and design. Conscious about its environmental footprint and pioneering the way forward, the LC is available in two variants:

• LC500
• LC500 Hybrid

Performance Specifications

Immediately identifiable as a Lexus thanks to its hallmark spindle grille and dynamic character lines, the 2018 Lexus LC 500 is fitted with a naturally aspirated high-performance V8 engine that produces:

• Power: 470 horsepower
• Torque: 540 Nm

The Variable Active Exhaust adds to the aural pleasure while acceleration from 0 – 100 km/h is completed in 4.7 seconds.

Hybrid Variant

Available in a flurry of vibrant colours such as Naples Yellow Contrast Layering and Structural Blue, the Hybrid variant benefits from two gearboxes, a CVT and a four-speed automatic, working in conjunction to deliver:

• Power: 354 horsepower
• Torque: 348 Nm

The Multi Stage Hybrid System also allows for the LC 500h to operate with the gasoline engine off at speeds of up to 140 km/h.
