2018 Nissan Juke: Unique Performance and Design
Introduction
The Nissan Juke stands out as a distinctive vehicle targeting the youth market, known for its unique design and remarkable performance. As the launch of the second generation approaches, rumors suggest that Nissan will introduce an eco-friendly version based on a new hybrid concept.
Design and Performance
Shiro Nakamura, the head of creative design at Nissan, confirmed that the new Juke will be completely different from its predecessor while maintaining its identity as a Juke. Aesthetic adjustments will include updates to the headlights and prominent wheel arches, preserving the overall look.
Technical Specifications
The new Juke will feature a P0 platform based on the 2002 Nissan Micra chassis. It will be equipped with a 1.6-liter engine producing 190 horsepower, while also considering the rear seating space.
Hybrid Future
Nissan has also revealed plans to produce hybrid versions of the Juke. Nakamura stated that meeting the demands for the model would be challenging without incorporating hybrid technology, making it essential for the future.
