In this context, Ahmed Sadoudi, the Regional Manager for Chevrolet in the Middle East and Africa, stated:

Performance Engines
The 2019 Chevrolet Malibu is equipped with a new 1.5-liter turbo engine that provides some of the best fuel consumption levels in its class, achieving up to 16.7 km/l.
- The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
- It produces a power output of 163 horsepower.
- Torque reaches 250 Nm at 2500 – 5000 RPM.
Additionally, a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is available, producing 250 horsepower, with an economical fuel consumption rate of 14.2 kilometers per liter.
Colors and Exterior Design
To enhance its appeal, the 2019 Chevrolet Malibu comes in nine new exterior colors, including:
- Dark Metallic Green
- Dark Metallic Gray
- Dark Metallic Blue
