Launch of the All-New 2021 Lexus IS in the UAE
Event Details
Al-Futtaim Lexus launched the all-new 2021 Lexus IS this week in the United Arab Emirates during an exclusive event hosted by Al-Futtaim Automotive, the exclusive distributor of Lexus in the country.
The event, held at the prestigious Lexus Center in the Green Community within the Dubai Investment Park, attracted representatives from Lexus, Lexus customers in the UAE, members of the Lexus F Club, car enthusiasts, as well as media personnel and influential automotive specialists from social media.
Attendees participated in the unveiling of the new Lexus IS, available in three variants:
- Lexus IS 300 Premiere
- Lexus IS 350 F Sport Prestige
- Lexus IS 350 F Sport Platinum
Director's Statement
During a presentation on the evolution of the Lexus IS model to date and the unveiling of the new generation for 2021, Saad Abdullah, Marketing and Brand Operations Manager for Lexus at Al-Futtaim Automotive, stated:

History of the Lexus IS
Since its launch in 1999, the Lexus IS has been renowned for achieving the perfect balance between design elegance and sporty performance to meet customer aspirations, with sales exceeding one million vehicles over two decades.
With the unveiling of the 2021 model, it is clear that meticulous craftsmanship and extensive testing have resulted in the best version of the Lexus IS to date.
Engine Options
The vehicle is available with two engine options:
- The first engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with an intercooler, generating a maximum power of 241 horsepower and a torque of 350 Nm.
- The second engine is a 3.5-liter V6, producing a maximum power of 311 horsepower and a torque of 380 Nm.
Both engines are paired with a direct shift eight-speed automatic transmission that delivers exceptional driving capabilities, along with high fuel efficiency and quiet operation even at high speeds.
