2019 Lexus IS Review: Luxury Sedan with Impressive Features

The first avatar of the Lexus IS made its global debut back in 1998. Initially, it resembled more of a Toyota with some fancy add-ons than a full-blown Lexus. However, this changed within a year, and the IS truly became a real Lexus. The posh Japanese carmaker recognized the need for an entry-level luxury sedan that was smaller and more affordable than the larger ES sedan. This strategic move proved successful, as buyers began to embrace the IS.

Currently, the third generation Lexus IS, launched in 2013, is still available with design revisions and added technology. The 2019 Lexus IS represents the most recent iteration of the model, though an all-new version is anticipated soon.
