Highlights from the New York Auto Show 2017
The New York Auto Show, which runs from the 12th to the 23rd of April, is an important event for motoring enthusiasts and manufacturers alike. Falling between the Geneva Motor Show and the Shanghai Auto Show, this year sees models such as the Chevrolet Corvette Carbon 65, Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, Koenigsegg RS1, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet hog the limelight.

Chevrolet Corvette Carbon 65
Celebrating the 65th anniversary of the legendary Corvette, the Carbon 65 Edition is restricted to 650 units globally and is dressed with:
- Carbon fiber rear spoiler

- Carbon fiber rimmed steering wheel
- Fender stripes
- Blue brake calipers
- Competition sports seats
Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
Claimed to be the world’s fastest accelerating production car, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is based on the Hellcat and boosts power from 707 horsepower to a staggering 840 horsepower. Key features include:
- Larger supercharger
- Increased boost pressure
- New pistons
- Dual-stage fuel pumps
The SRT Demon can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds and reach 225 km/h in only 9.65 seconds.
Koenigsegg Agera RS1
The latest Swedish hypercar, the Koenigsegg Agera RS1, showcases exquisite craftsmanship with an Arctic White finish and blue details on:
- Front winglets
- Side skirts
- Diffuser
- Rear wing
Inside, it features bright blue Alcantara combined with carbon fiber and black anodized aluminum trim, producing a power output of 1,360 horsepower and 1,370 Nm of torque.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet
The all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet is smaller than the flagship S-Class Cabriolet yet larger than the C-Class Cabriolet. It features:
- Mercedes-Benz’s 4MATIC All-Wheel-Drive system
- A class of its own packed with technological features
The E-Class Cabriolet is set to debut in the Middle East in the upcoming months.
