
The Eletre is definitely the most ground-breaking product from Lotus in the recent times. Serving as a stepping stone towards ushering in a new direction hallmarked by electrification and wearing the crown of the first-ever SUV from the British brand, it is not just any SUV, but one that strikes admirable buoyancy between the paradigm traits of an SUV and the Lotus DNA.
With its striking design, high-tech interior and colossal power, the first Eletre, in its GCC configuration has been delivered to a local Emirati customer. This underscores the brand’s perseverance and dedication to launch avant-garde products in the region and extend the marque to a wider customer base. It’s also exuberating news for fans of Lotus and the Eletre alike as those who had penchant for the vehicle can finally satiate their thirst.
Marking the special occasion, the delivery of the car was held at Lotus’ Dubai showroom in the presence of Karl Hamer, Chairman and CEO of Adamas Motor Group and Dan Balmer, President and CEO of Lotus Cars in the Middle-East and Asia Pacific.

The special model was commissioned to don opulence and majestic appeal with a Solar Yellow Paint scheme for the exterior coupled with gloss-black wheels. This is likely to spin euphoria among the automotive enthusiasts who would gourmand such a unique and burly sight on the road. The cockpit has been outlined with Quarts interior theme which sports seats finely executed in Nappa leather and steering wheel cached in a combination of grey leather and Steel Blue shade.
This example of Lotus Eletre S comes powered by a 450 kW motor that churns out a stonking 603 hp and 710 Nm of torque, enough to sprint the car to 100 Km/h in just 4.5-seconds. It adorns features such as 22” Diamond Cut alloy wheels, light-weight disk brakes with 6-piston caliper on the front, active rear spoiler for better downforce, soft-close doors, ambient lighting and KEF 2160 W 23-speaker system. Depending on the driving style, it flanks a claimed range of 490-535 Km on the WLTP cycle.

The Eletre is available in three versions namely – Base, S and R with the R featuring a 675 kW battery that churns out 905 hp to accelerate to 100 Km/h in 2.95 seconds. This variant aims to take thrill to a new realm with tech such as a 2-speed transmission, active anti-roll control, rear-wheel steering for effortless tight turns, Track mode for utmost gusto when going full throttle on a race track and a carbon-fibre pack which features carbon-fibre elements on certain interior portions.
Price for the model starts at AED 496,000 (including VAT) for the base trim with order books now open for customers in the UAE.
