The Changan CS75 is the latest 4x4 offering from the brand, standing out as the most sporty model in its lineup, closely followed by the CS35. The sleek black finish immediately caught my eye, and even though it's not classified as a luxury or high-speed vehicle, there’s something about it that brings a smile to your face. I hopped inside, pressed the start button, and began my experience.

Exterior Design
Changan has done a commendable job with the design. The vehicle appears sporty and modern, featuring an aggressive front grille, a small spoiler, and its signature blue headlights. The sleek lines enhance its aesthetic appeal, although the wheels appear slightly small for the overall size of the car.
Interior and Safety Features
The interior is comfortable, offering five seats with ample legroom for all passengers. The spacious trunk accommodates all your needs. The seats give off a luxurious feel, enhanced by sporty red stitching. The dashboard features a 7-inch screen paired with a high-quality 6-speaker sound system. However, a navigation system is notably absent.
Regarding safety, the CS75 has excelled in the (C-NCAP) new car assessment program in China, achieving an impressive score of 59 out of 62. Its safety features include:

Driving Experience
To be honest, I didn’t expect much from the 1.8-liter engine. The car does not accelerate rapidly from a complete stop, and there's noticeable turbo lag when pressing the gas between 1500-3000 RPM. However, once the turbo kicks in around 3000 – 3500 RPM, the car roars eagerly up to 5500 RPM, achieving a very acceptable speed, and you can feel its agility. The suspension provides a comfortable ride without any imbalance in turns. Additionally, the high-performance tires offer excellent road grip for everyday driving. The steering is light and responsive, making driving easy and smooth.
Conclusion
Overall, I genuinely liked the car and believe it represents a significant step forward in the mid-range 4x4 market. It's packed with technology, comfortable, has a good engine, and is economical. Best of all is its price. I rate the Changan CS75 a solid 4 out of 5.
